Diane Wilcox – Managing Director
Diane Wilcox has over 15 years experience as an auctioneer, and has emerged from a traditionally male dominated field as one of Australia’s leading auctioneers.
Rather than contract her skills as an auctioneer only, and limit her private business to mainly antiques, she decided to merge her own passion and interest in luxury and exquisite items, particularly art, jewellery and furnishings, the desire to assist buyers and sellers alike and bring her unique sense of occasion, class and professionalism to an auction event.
In 2004 Wilcox Auctioneers was established and has since grown quickly to hold some of the most exclusive home contents auctions in the country.
Diane has had a lifelong interest and passion for art, and is currently completing a Visual Arts Diploma from the Chisholm Institute. Australian art is her specialty and she is considered an expert in that field.
More importantly, Diane has an enviable reputation as an honest appraiser and is well known for being an astute judge of the investment potential of art and jewellery.
Diane is a former art gallery owner in Church Street Brighton and aims to re-open another one in the near future.
